We are a small Patient Led group of Bowel Cancer Patients willing to help and support other members. Formed in January 2015 the idea came about by two patients who have worked for two years in preparation of launching this Group. They have worked closely with the Colorectal and Stoma Nurses at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, attended training by Macmillan Cancer Support and other meetings and are now launching the first Support Group of this type in the Fylde. This is a self funded non-profit making Support Group and if you would like to be a member please come along and meet the Group.

5 Star Reviews from Members
It was good to share experiences with each other nice atmosphere.  Talks from Nurses and talking to people with similar experiences

Don't know how we managed before this group started. It has been a great help to me. Highly recommend.

Really look forward to the first Tuesday in every month. These meetings have been a great help and given me more confidence again.

It was a relief to meet and talk with other people with similar challenges to me. I have picked up some really good practical tips especially about planning for holidays and trips away.

Have had some really good days out and events with the Group Members including Pub Lunches, Xmas Party, Heritage Tours and the Pantomime at Lowther Pavillion.

Best part is mixing with other people who have similar experiences on a confidential and informal basis.

I have been a member of this group since November 2016 and have had the most amazing support, especially with recently having to have a colostomy. Their help and knowledge for everyone is wonderful. So come on along and enjoy the fun, laughter and chatting xx
